The best restaurants in the country are getting more creative with their delivery options, with a new service launching in Sydney this week that allows diners to pick up their food and leave at their own pace.
AstraZeneca’s new Delivery Delivery service has its origins in the fast food chain’s “quick delivery” concept.
The service, which has been rolled out to select restaurants across the city, allows customers to pick food up and drop off at their local Aussie Delivery Delivery delivery location, where a worker is expected to arrive in an hour.
The worker will then collect the food from the restaurant’s premises and deliver it to the customer’s table in front of them.
Customers can then either return the food to their table or take it home with them.
The delivery service is a new addition to Aussie delivery in Sydney, which is expected be expanded to other cities and suburbs.
